Variant Purpose
Container For use when placing a the social links on http://ft.com
Stand alone For use at the when users want to follow FT on socials isn’t a primary action available to a user
Inverse For use when using icons on the slate background e.g. the dark slate web footer
Hover To be used to let users know that they are currently hovering over an available link. Only to be applied for desktop or larger devices where users can still navigate screens with a trackpad or mouse
